Guided Tour of the Falls, Scenic Helicopter flight and Half day Zambia Tour
Day two begins with a morning pickup from your hotel reception for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. Please note that the entrance fee is USD $30 for SADC residents and USD $50 for international visitors. Your tour takes you through the lush Victoria Falls rainforest to viewpoints along the cliffs opposite the thundering cascade. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the main falls as the powerful waters of the Zambezi River plunge into the Batoka Gorge below—an unforgettable natural spectacle.
Next, you’ll experience Victoria Falls from a completely different perspective with a 15‑minute scenic helicopter flight. Soar above the majestic falls, the sweeping Zambezi River, and the surrounding wilderness. This aerial adventure offers unparalleled views of the topography, wildlife, and the dramatic depths of the Batoka Gorge—allowing the landscape to reveal its story from above.
Your half‑day tour continues across the border into Zambia for an enriching visit to Livingstone, once the capital of Northern Rhodesia until 1935. Here, you’ll explore the country’s oldest and largest museum, where you can discover Zambia’s cultural and natural history. The museum also houses the most extensive collection of Dr. David Livingstone memorabilia, offering fascinating insights into the legacy of the famed explorer.
Full Day Chobe, Botswana
This tour departs from Victoria Falls and heads to Botswana’s Chobe National Park. You’ll be transferred to the Kazungula border, where your Botswana guide will meet you before continuing directly to the river for a morning game‑viewing cruise along the Chobe River. Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits are served on board. The cruise ends at around 12:30 p.m., followed by lunch at a hotel situated on the riverbank.
After lunch, you’ll board open safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park, offering excellent opportunities to encounter an abundance of wildlife. Once the game drive concludes, you’ll return to the Kazungula border, where your Zimbabwean guide will meet you for the transfer back to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 16:30.
Transfer to VFA for flight back home
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) for your departure.
Please note: Depending on wildlife activity from the previous evening, the order of activities may be adjusted—for example, you may begin with a game drive and end with the boat cruise.
